The introduction of the Tenant Fee Act from 1st June 2019 will bring new challenges to agencies from how they operate to finding new areas to generate revenue. New compliance features

We’ve updated the Goodlord platform to make sure we can continue to offer the high level of service our customers are used to. Reducing compliance risks is at the heart of what Goodlord offers so these new features are available on request from 1st May 2019 and will be switched on from 1st June 2019 across the whole Goodlord platform.
 
Removal of fees for ASTs and Licence tenancies

We’ve removed the fee option for ASTs and Licence tenancies to reduce errors and ensure you’re compliant.
Auto-generate deposit amounts

Holding deposits (previously called Initial Payments) and Security deposits will be auto-generated and capped at the appropriate amount in line with the new law change.
Deposit and refund calculation on renewal

On renewal of a tenancy, deposits will be calculated automatically and we’ll show you if there’s a refund owed to the tenant where applicable.
